Avon possesses a wealth of experience as a senior human resources, organization development leader in the insurance and financial services industry as well as the business equipment industry. He will be bringing his considerable experience and expertise to our clients through the provision of mediation and consulting services.
Avon has been responsible for or led initiatives in sales, management, product and systems training, change leadership, performance management, succession planning and compensation as well as event management across North America. Recognized for his skill in building relationships, facilitating change and building employee engagement, most recently he was the Assistant Vice President, HR Business Partner for Sun Life Financial Canada.
Avon is now focusing his attention and energy in the areas of conflict management and mediation. Because of his broad business background and diversity of experience, he is able to bring considerable insight to the practice of alternative dispute resolution.
Avon holds a GBA (Group Benefits Associate) from Dalhousie University and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He holds certificates from Harvard Business School and the University of Southern California in Change Leadership, Financial Management from the Wharton School, as well as Conflict Management from the University of Waterloo.
